Constantine Bay

May 2017

We were lucky enough to join Cornish Interiors on this fabulous project and it has to be our most colourful yet!  We delivered a huge range of soft furnishings and window treatments in a gorgeous variety of fabric…

Ground Floor:

Throughout this floor, we installed a selection of sheer curtains, single pleat full length curtains, venetians, Intu blinds, roman blinds and blackout roller blinds.  We also designed and made a number of scatter cushions, with contrast piping.  In the living room, games area and dining room, we fitted double bracket tracks, to allow for both sheers and curtains…the dining room proved to be slightly tricky, due to to the steal pillar in the corner of the sliding doors.  With careful planning from our fitter, we were able to fit a bended track in this one.

First Floor:

Each bedroom had a bespoke, individually designed headboard, which complimented the style and colours of the window dressings.  In the master bedroom we installed Velux window blinds, as well as the headboard, a range of scatter cushions and full length single pleat blackout curtains.  Both the garden bed room and twin room had similar treatments, with the addition of slim roman blinds.  All upstairs curtains were dressed onto limed oak poles, which really completed the look.

The project, led by Cathryn Bishop and Lisa Mills, was an absolute joy to deliver and the mixture of fabrics, textures, colours and items really allowed us to get very creative.

“We have worked with Marie Hewitt Interiors for over 12 years on numerous projects, big and small all over the UK and have come to highly value their knowledge, ideas and inspiration when it comes to window dressings. They always have a solution, even for our more tricky projects and their eye for detail and the standard of work they produce is exactly what we and our clients demand. But more importantly, both Marie and Leah are an absolute pleasure to work with. Nothing is ever too much hassle and they always go above and beyond which is why we keep using them”.
